The front desk receptionist/office administrator is the first point of contact in the Real Estate office. The primary responsibility is to provide support to the team of REALTORS®, our valuable clients and to the general public while ensuring that the front desk operations are functioning smoothly and efficiently.


  • Manage active office listings and book showing appointments
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate person
  • Maintain complete and up to date file of required listing documents for all active listings
  • Greet clients/walk-ins and ensure they are promptly assigned to a REALTOR®
  • Receive and accurately relay showing confirmations to REALTORS®
  • Provide support to busy REALTORS® including creation of brochures to inform and attract potential clients
  • Oversee the general appearance of the office – stock magazines, keep kitchen area clean, empty garbage, shovel and keep floors clean in winter, etc.
  • Ensure office supplies are adequately stocked
  • Other duties as required


  • Superior customer service skills, specifically excellent telephone manner
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel), Outlook and internet and ability to learn new programs
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Ability to remain patient and calm when under pressure


  • Previous office experience as administrative assistant or receptionist required. Experience in a real estate office a bonus.


  • Secondary School (preferred)

SALARY: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
