REAL ESTATE RECEPTIONIST / ADMINISTRATION
Up to 5 days per week, flexible; PLUS occasional vacation & sickness coverage
DESCRIPTION:
The front desk receptionist/office administrator is the first point of contact in the Real Estate office. The primary responsibility is to provide support to the team of REALTORS®, our valuable clients and to the general public while ensuring that the front desk operations are functioning smoothly and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage active office listings and book showing appointments
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate person
- Maintain complete and up to date file of required listing documents for all active listings
- Greet clients/walk-ins and ensure they are promptly assigned to a REALTOR®
- Receive and accurately relay showing confirmations to REALTORS®
- Provide support to busy REALTORS® including creation of brochures to inform and attract potential clients
- Oversee the general appearance of the office – stock magazines, keep kitchen area clean, empty garbage, shovel and keep floors clean in winter, etc.
- Ensure office supplies are adequately stocked
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Superior customer service skills, specifically excellent telephone manner
- Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel), Outlook and internet and ability to learn new programs
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Ability to remain patient and calm when under pressure
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous office experience as administrative assistant or receptionist required. Experience in a real estate office a bonus.
EDUCATION:
- Secondary School (preferred)
SALARY: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
