Clairwood supports the Georgian Triangle Humane Society in several ways.
Sherry Rioux and Emma Baker of the Rioux Baker Team at Clairwood Real Estate are Adoption Partners with the GTHS. Check out the Rioux Baker Team’s Facebook page for their adorable Adoption Adventures videos.
Joanne Brown, Sales Rep & Marketing/Training Manager, is a GTHS Volunteer, working in the Cat Care area of the shelter several times a week, fostering kittens, working as a member of the Walkathon Planning Committee, and helping with GTHS events like the Golf Tournament.
This campaign is now complete for 2022 and over 250 of our local students benefitted from the program. We look forward to supporting the campaign again in the summer of 2023. Watch this page for details.
Clairwood Real Estate is thrilled to be partnering with Collingwood Cares Community Outreach to support their 5th Annual Backpack Drive. Sales Representative Liliana Grovu, is supporting the efforts by getting the word out that school supplies like backpacks & lunch bags, pens & pencils, markers, paper, binders, and calculators, among other items, are needed to fill the backpacks. The organization hopes to support 350-400 local students at the beginning of the school year with the gift of a backpack full of school supplies. Students can register to receive a back pack by emailing j_maclellan@live.ca. If you have items that you would like to donate items to the backpack drive, you can drop them off at the Clairwood Real Estate Office, #306-10 Keith Avenue, Collingwood (in Cranberry Mews), or contact Liliana Grovu at lilianagrovu@gmail.com for pickup from your location. Donations are being accepted until August 26th. Thanks for helping to support our local students!
Clairwood and the Rioux Baker Team supporting the Georgian Triangle Humane Society 10th Anniversary Walkathon by registering a team to walk in the 2022 Walkathon during Walkathon week July 31-August 6th. The team raised over $1800 to help support pets and people in Southern Georgian Bay, making them the 4th highest fundraising team!
We look forward to participating in the Walkathon again next year.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Team up, walk, and fundraise! It’s cold out there… but there’s no place like home.

Bringing comfort, hope and dignity to women and youth in crisis with the gift of purses filled with personal necessities. Donations are being accepted at our Clairwood Office. Give a purse that has been gently used and previously loved, or purchase a new purse and fill it with personal necessities, such as Feminine hygiene products, Tissues, Shampoo, Conditioner, Face mask, Hand sanitizer, Toothbrush, Floss, Hair brush, Gloves, Hat, Scarf, Lip balm, Coffee shop gift card, Notepad, Pen, Whistle, Flashlight. Including an encouraging note is always a thoughtful touch.
